Orange & Blue Open

October 1-2 2016 The University of Florida welcomes fencers to the Orange & Blue Open, our October 3-weapon open tournament. First event $30, subsequent events $20. We accept cash and check at the door. Official USFA sanctioned even Events Scheduled: D & Under Mixed Epee Mixed Epee D & Under Mixed Foil Mixed Foil D & Under Mixed Saber Mixed Saber ALL FENCERS MUST HAVE CURRENT USFA COMPETITIVE MEMBERSHIP. WEAPON AND EQUIPMENT CHECK: Masks and Gloves for all three weapons. Foil fencers must have a conductive bib. Saber fencers must use an 800N glove as per new USFA regulation. FOOD AND DRINK: Food and drink with the exception of water is NOT permitted inside the gym. Food and drinks other than water may be kept and consumed outside in the picnic area. This is the policy of the gym space we are using. OFFICIALS: The referee assigner/hirer is Harrison Hue. All referees are currently rated referees. PARKING AND VENUE: On the weekends, all parking is open in the Southwest Recreation Center lot, as well as the Commuter Lot across the road. The venue is basketball courts 9 and 10, with a fencing-specific entrance on the North side of the building. New Rules will be incorporated and enforced! Preregistration opens on 07/19/2016. Preregistration closes on 11/27/2016.
