2-Day Intensive FOIL Camp

Come to PrecisionAFC in Torrance and train with national medalists and top competitive athletes! This intensive 2-day training camp will be led by the highly experienced coaches MacDougall & Louie. This camp will cover footwork, blade drills, tactical scenarios, and bouting. This camp is open to all competitive level athletes. Snacks, drinks, & lunch will be made available to attendees of the camp. COACH BIOS: Forrest MacDougall has been involved in the sport of fencing for over 25 years, having started when he was only 8 years old. He is a professionally accredited coach, certified by the United States Fencing Coaches Association, and Acadamie Internationale d'Armes. Forrest has been appointed for many years now as a designated National Coach for the USA Cadet/Junior teams at various World Cups. He has served as the National Coach for the Cadet/Junior Pan American Championships three times (2018 Costa Rica, 2020 El Salvador, & 2022 Peru), where he led the American foil squads to a total of 32 medals, 14 of which were gold. Forrest also competed at Senior World Cups & Grand Prix events while representing Team USA before he retired from being a competitive athlete and transitioned to being a full-time coach. Brennan Louie has been in the sport of fencing for nearly 2 decades, earning a multitude of accolades during his competitive years. in 2017 he was the gold medalist at the SEA games in the individual Men's Foil event. He represented the Philippines as an athlete, and competed at many World Cups, Grand Prix events, and the 2018 Asia Games. His students have led successful careers as well, many of which have medaled nationally and competed internationally. He has a bachelors of science in psychology with focus in Behavioral Neuroscience from UCSD.
