Lil Yinzers Youth Cadet & Junior Tournament

A Pittsburgh-themed tournament for youth, cadet, and junior fencers in the Western PA Division and beyond! Bring your Terrible Towel, Pens jersey, and other Black and Gold merch and cheer on the 'Burgh! As of 5/19, the event schedule has been modified and pre-registered fencers have been notified of any changes to their events. Events Scheduled: 9:45 AM - Y10/Y12 Mixed Epee 10 AM - Junior (U19) Mixed Foil 11:30 AM - Y10/Y12 Mixed Foil 1 PM - Y14 Mixed Foil 2 PM - Cadet (U16) Mixed Foil 2 PM - Cadet (U16)/Junior (U19) Mixed Epee Event schedule is subject to change based on pre-registration numbers. All fencers MUST have a current USA Fencing membership: at the minimum, Non-Competitive for youth events, and Access for Cadet and Junior events. Proof of membership must be shown at check-in. Youth and Cadet events are non-regional/non-point-earning/non-qualifying events. Junior events are sanctioned and classification changes can be awarded. Age Eligibility: Junior - born 2004-2010 Cadet - born 2007-2010 Y14 - born 2008-2011 Y12 - born 2010-2013 Y10 - born 2012-2015 Event Fees: $20 per event if pre-registered. $30 per event for same-day registration. We will be accepting cash, check, and Venmo. Equipment Check: We will be checking masks, gloves, and cords. Full fencing attire, including plastron, knickers, and long socks, must be worn by all fencers. Pre-registration closes on 5/18/2023. Registration will be accepted at the door. Questions?
