Yorick Open 2006

The Texas State Fencing Club Proudly presents: The Yorick Open 2006 (the Second Oldest Tournament in Texas) ------------------ Important Info: ------------------- Date: 04/22/2005 Location: Texas State University in San Marcos, TX Helo everyone this is a annoucement or some changes to the Yorick Open. The Tournament has shaped up a little and I have some very important information those interested. First, the Epee and Saber events are being pushed back one hour. NEW Schedule Foil 9am (no change) Epee 12 noon Saber 2pm Event overlap is being decreased in order to have more referees and strips allotted towards each weapon. Other USFA Guidelines to keep in mind: 1. Usfa Membership is REQUIRED. There will be Sign-up forms at Registration. 2. For the Open competitions, the fencer must be 13 years of age as of January 1st of the fencing season. 3. Mask Punch will be mandatory, but other euqipment will not be checked for this tournament. Location: Texas State University at San Marcos Jowers gyms 101-102 & 220-222 (all strips assigned from upstairs) Directions: I35 exit (TX-142 / TX-80 / Lulling / Lockhart) exit 205. (North-West) onto RR-12 [E Hopkins St] (coming from Austin turn Right, San Antonio turn left). On the Right there is a Walgreen’s next to it is Charles Austin Dr. (also called Bobcat Dr.) turn right. Right after the train tracks turn left into the Jowers parking lot, park anywhere.
