"Z Fencing Los Angeles (http://www.zfencinglosangeles.com)" fencing club will be hosting the "Z Southern California Sabre Cup". Venue: Z Fencing Los Angeles; located at Dance Conservatory of Pasadena - 496 S Arroyo Parkway, Pasadena CA 91105. Look for "Z Fencing Los Angeles" sign on the north bound side of the street. Across the street from Whole Foods Market. Parking: Onsite parking is available but may be limited. Overflow parking is available at the two shops north of the venue. Park at the "Dry Cleaner" located on 450 S Arroyo Parkway Pasadena CA 91105. Street parking is also available. Online pre-registration will close night before event. Proof of USFA membership is required. If you had a recent ratings change, please bring a copy of ratings change form. USFA membership enrollment forms will be available onsite. Events are sanctioned by USFA SoCal Division. Junior and Senior events will be rated events. If you are expecting to run few minutes beyond check-in close, please call 213-321-0683. Fees: $30 for first event, $15 for each additional event payable (cash/check) at the door. If a check is bounced, there will be an additional $6 fee. Format: Initial seeding will be based on NPRS rating, letter and year. Women event with less than 6 fencers will be combined with Men event. 100% promotion to direct elimination round. Four electric strips. Large events may be done in two flights. Medals for top 8 places. Paid refs will be on site. Armorer/Equipment: Masks will be checked and underarm protector will be required. Chest protector required for women events. Y10 events require #0 or #2 blades. Food: Whole Foods supermarket across the street.
