The Battle in Seattle is traditionally one of the Western Washington Division's largest annual events, drawing top fencers from all over the Pacific Northwest. Join us for this exciting event at the Northwest's newest fencing facility! WWD members will earn points toward the WWD points list based on their placement in each event.

Friday, January 11, 2008: 6:00 pm - Doors open 7:00 pm - Veteran Mixed Epee Saturday, January 12, 2008: 8:15 am - Doors open 9:00 am - Mixed Foil 1:00 pm - Women's Epee 2:00 pm - Mixed Saber Sunday, January 13, 2008: 8:15 am - Doors open 9:00 am - Mixed Epee 1:00 pm - Women's Foil 3:00 pm - Women's Saber -- Note new time!!! All times are close of registration. Arrive early to get your equipment checked! We will be running on a strict schedule so your promptness is appreciated. Fencers that wish to fence in two events on the same day must report to the strip when called or they may be scratched from the event. We will try to accommodate people as best we can, but we will not delay events if a fencer is still fencing in another event.

Registration is $10 plus $20 per event entered. Tournament fees can be paid in cash or check (US$ only) made out to USFA/WWD. You may also pre-pay on AskFRED when you pre-register. Pre-registration is REQUIRED by MONDAY, January 7th at 10pm. Fencers that do not pre-register will be charged DOUBLE fees at the door. ---- Tournament Rules ----
All fencers must be current competitive members of the USFA. Proof of current USFA membership will be required of all participants at check-in, so please bring your membership card. You may join or renew your USFA membership at the door. Canadian fencers must be current CFF members. Full USFA regulation uniform is required, including plastron, knickers, and knee-length socks. No jeans or sweatpants allowed. USFA rules require that all participants were born in 1994 or earlier. The veteran mixed epee event is open to all fencers born in 1967 or later.

Please arrive early to allow time for equipment checks. We will be checking masks, lames, and bodycords. Fencers in the Seattle area can get equipment checked prior to the event at the following times: - Wednesday, 1/9 at Salle Auriol Seattle from 7:30 - 9:00pm - Thursday, 1/10 at Salle Auriol Seattle and Rain City Fencing center from 7:30 - 9:00pm - Friday, 1/10 at Rain City Fencing Center from 6:00 - 9:00pm
