RCFC presents another youth tournament! We will have Y8, Y10, Y12, and Y14 events in foil and epee.

Saturday, December 7th:

9:30 AM - Doors open

10:00 AM - Youth-10 Foil, Youth-8 Epee

1:00 PM - Youth-12 Epee

2:00 PM - Youth-14 Foil


Sunday, December 8th:

9:30 AM - Doors open

10:00 AM - Youth-10 Epee, Youth-12 Foil

1:00 PM - Youth-14 Epee

2:00 PM - Youth-8 Foil


All times are close of check-in. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your check-in time. Note, fencers may not fence in two events at the same time. All events will be fenced mixed.


For all events, format will be one round of pools, 100% promotion to direct elimination, with medals for the top 4. Note: This includes Youth-8, since USA Fencing has suspended the new Youth-8 format and policies for now.


Entry fee is $30 per event. RCFC members: let us if you would prefer to have the entry fee billed to your account.


Current (2024-2025) USA Fencing membership is required. A Competitive membership or Access level membership is sufficient. If necessary, please join or renew online at https://member.usafencing.org/ before the event, to speed up check-in. Note: Since the membership year expires July 31st, most fencers will need to renew for the new season. Check your membership status online!


Full regulation uniform, including underarm protector, fencing pants and long socks, is required.


All foil fencers at all competition levels must have masks with conductive bibs. RCFC has electric foil masks, mask cords, and retrofit kits for BG "Olympic" masks available for sale. Epee fencers may not use a foil or saber mask with any conductive surface.


Foil fencers who wear a hard plastic chest protector must use an FIE-approved padded protector. We have a limited quantity of the new protectors available for sale. Chest protectors are still required for female fencers, optional for male fencers.


Youth-8 and Youth-10 fencers must use #2 or shorter blades.


Age eligibility:

  1. Youth-8: born 2016-2019
  2. Youth-10: born 2014-2017
  3. Youth-12: born 2012-2015
  4. Youth-14: born 2010-2013
