Case Western Reserve University Fencing Invitation

We would like to invite all college club and varsity fencers to the Case Western Reserve University Fencing Invitational on April 21 at the Adelbert Gym. All fencers who are current college students may enter. USFA rules will be used, however USFA membership is not necessary. Awards will be given to top 4 in each event and to schools earning top points in overall men's and women's events. Entry: Registration fee is $5 if registered by April 16, $10 on April 17 or at the door plus $15 per events. Fencers may enter in more then one weapon. Fencer can register at www.AskFred.net . Format: Pools with complete promotion to direct elimination. Individual Awards: All events will give awards to top 4. Team Awards: Points will be awarded to top 3 representatives from each school in each event. Points will be awarded based on size of event. If there are 10 fencers in an event, first place will receive 10 points, second 9 points, etc. Points will be tallied for school awards in Overall Men's events and Overall Women's events. Schedule: Times listed are close of registration. All fencers must check in and pay for their events at the door. Fencing will begin shortly after close of registration. Men's Foil- 9:00 Women's Epee - 10:00 Women's Saber - 11:00 Men's Saber - 12:00 Men's Epee - 1:00 Women's Foil - 2:00 Location: The tournament will be held in Adelbert Gymnasium, 2128 Adelbert Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44106 (41.5031° N, 81.60592° W). Schools that will be attending with 6 or more fencers are asked to bring 1 (or more) complete scoring machines to help make this events run more smoothly.
