The SoCal Youth Challenge events are for Y10, Y12 and Y14 unrated fencers only. No weapons classifications will be awarded. Preregister here or sign-up at the door and the cost is $15 per event. All entry fees are payable at the door.
The SoCal Youth Challenge events are for Y10, Y12 and Y14 unrated fencers only. No weapons classifications will be awarded. Preregister here or sign-up at the door and the cost is $15 per event. Events Scheduled: Unrated Y14 Mixed Foil 9:00am (check-in close) Unrated Y12 Mixed Foil 12:00pm (check-in close) Unrated Y10* Mixed Foil 2:30pm (check-in close) * #2 or #0 blades are required for all Y10 events -All events will fenced with electric equipment. Underarm protectors, chest protectors, knee high socks, etc., will be required. -Fencers born between 2000-2003 are eligible for the Y10 events. Fencers born between 1998-2001 are eligible for the Y12 events. Fencers born between 1996-1999 are eligible for the Y14 events. -Boy and girls will be mixed in each age category with 100% promotion from the first round. -Points will be awarded at each competition for all age categories. These points will be used to determine the Youth Challenge Champions at the end of the 2010-2011 season. -Please direct questions to the appropriate sponsor club. -Updated info and results can be found at: www.socalyouthchallenge.com
