Unsanctioned tournament to raise money for Rose Thorn (Nova's life partner)'s gender-affirming surgery. Coffee from Slacktide Coffee Roasters will be awarded to winners!
Rose Thorn (they/he) is a trans masc nonbinary person pursuing gender affirming top surgery. They have been wanting to get this procedure for the better part of 3 years and are finally able to make it happen, but we need your help. While we're lucky enough to have an insurance plan that covers some of the procedure, there is still a large out of pocket cost that we have to pay. On top of the cost of the surgery itself RT will not be able to work their cafe job for several weeks while they recover. We're asking a $30.00 donation to register for the Open, but any donation amount is appreciated, no matter how small.
