SCHEDULE:

All times are close of registration. Fencing will begin shortly after close of registration. Fencers must arrive before check-in closes in order to participate. It is recommended that fencers arrive prior to the close of registration to have time to warm up.

  1. 9:00 am – Doors open
  2. 10:00 am – Cadet Epee
  3. 10:00 am – Y14 Foil
  4. 10:30 am – Y10 Foil 
  5. 2:00 pm – Y12 Foil
  6. 2:30 pm – Y14 Epee

Event format is one round of pools, 100% promotion to direct elimination. Medals for the top 4.


ELIGIBILITY and ENTRY:

Open to the following fencers: 

  1. Youth-10: Born 2015-2018
  2. Youth-12: Born 2013-2016
  3. Youth-14: Born 2011-2014
  4. Cadet: Born 2009-2012

Events are capped. If your event has reached its cap, please reach out to SAS via AskFRED to get on the waitlist. If your event is at its cap and you cannot attend please contact us so we can unregister you and allow the next person on the waitlist into the tournament. While we do our best, registration is not actively monitored during the pre-registration period, spots may become open for anyone to register for at any time prior to the close of the pre-registration period. 


Full regulation uniform required, including underarm protector, knickers, and long socks. All fencers must have a minimum of 2 bodycords, 2 maskcords (foil only), and 2 weapons at the strip with them. Foil fencers must have masks with conductive bibs. Foil fencers who wear a hard plastic chest protector are required to use an FIE-approved padded protector.


USA Fencing rules apply. This is a USA Fencing sanctioned event. Current USA Fencing membership is required for registration. A Competitive or Access level membership is sufficient. Please join or renew your membership online before registering at https://www.usafencing.org/membership. 


FEES:

$35 entry per event. All payments will be made in person on the day of the tournament. Cash is preferred, CC is accepted. SAS members can charge their account.
