Absens corpore tantum. Events Scheduled: Mixed Epee Mixed Foil Mixed Saber D & Under Senior Mixed Foil Preregistration opens on 02/12/2009. Preregistration closes on 04/17/2009. In honor of our absent but never forgotten teammate, Mac Roberts, we are hosting the Mac Roberts Open. Come honor a brave young man serving his country in the armed services! Cost Entry fees are a flat $15 per event. Prizes Prizes will include medals for first, second and third in all events. Additionally, the winners of the Open Foil, Epee and Sabre events shall receive the following: Foil - Golubitsky Pro Maraging Foil Blade Epee - Blaise Frere White Maraging Epee Blade Sabre - Leon Paul Maraging Sabre Blade Schedule The schedule is as follows: The doors will open at 8:00 AM, and the Equipment Check-in table will be ready at 8:15 AM for all fencers. D&Under Foil registration will close at 9:00 AM, and will begin immediately thereafter. Open Epee registration will close at 10:45 AM, and will begin at 11:00 AM. Open Foil registration will close at 12:45 PM and will begin at 1:00 PM. Open Sabre registration will close at 2:45 PM and will begin at 3:00 PM. Discounts A-rated fencers fence for free and B-rated fencers fence for $10. We are also offering to waive all entry fees for fencers that bring boxes and reels. Membership Requirements USFA membership is required and all events will be run according to USFA rules and regulations. Fencers will not be permitted to compete without proof of membership in the form of valid USFA cards or letters of good standing from the USFA, or without a completed membership application and payment. Membership applications will be available at the tournament. Please note that this is an Open tournament and as such there are certain age restrictions in keeping with USFA regulations. No fencers under the age of 13 at the time of the tournament will be permitted to compete in any events being held. Also, as per USFA regulations, all fencers must have appropriate knickers and knee high socks to compete in this tournament. There can be no exceptions, and this will be enforced.
