Our team of coaches, staff, and volunteers, is committed to make it a great competitive experience for all the participants. Payments by CASH or CHECK are collected at check in. Preregistration opens on 10/29/2014. Preregistration closes on 04/03/2015. EQUIPMENT All masks will be tested. #2 size blades are required for all Y10 events. RULES and USFA MEMBERSHIP USA Fencing rules apply as set forth in the USA Fencing Rulebook and as discussed further in the USA Fencing Athlete Handbook (http://www.teamusa.org/USA-Fencing/About-Us/Manuals.aspx) PLEASE BRING YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD! RYCs are USFA sanctioned tournaments, and all competitors must be able to provide the proof of current USFA membership. You may complete membership application at the door, however we STRONGLY encourage you to apply online at http://usfencing.org/usa-fencing-membership before the event, and print out the receipt to show as proof of membership. Members without a proof of membership will need to pay for another membership at the door, to compete. TOURNAMENT VENUE CF&F 2015 Spring Challenge RYC will be held at Columbus Fencing & Fitness's 14,000 sq. ft. training facility. There is a total of 18 full length fencing strips at our training center, ten of which are equipped with modern electronic scoring equipment, by Favero, SG, Uhlmann, and Virtual Scoring Machines. We share the parking lot with newly renovated Dublin Village AMC 18 Theaters. REGIONAL RANKING POINT SYSTEM RYC is a possible QUALIFICATION PATH to '15 US National Championships. All participants residing in the states of OHIO, MICHIGAN, KENTUCKY, INDIANA, ILLINOIS, WISCONSIN, MISSOURI, IOWA, MINNESOTA, NEBRASKA, NORTH DAKOTA, and SOUTH DAKOTA, will earn points on the Region 2 Point List. Qualification Criteria: Top 50% (Y12) and 25% (Y14) on each Regions RRPS (Regional Ranking Point System), will earn qualification to their respective event at 2015 Summer National Championships. 100% of Y10 participants qualify for the Summer Nationals.
