UC Davis NCIFL Tournament 2024

This is a Northern California Intercollegiate Fencing League tournament; only enrolled college students with a student ID may participate. Please include your college club as your primary club when registering.

No USFA ratings will be awarded. Times are subject to change; those preregistered will be notified via email if so.

For this tournament, UC Davis is aiming to have novice foil fence fully electric. Meaning that from the beginning of pools until finals, novices will be expected to be suited up in full electric gear. If your school cannot provided the necessary gear to make this happen, please reach out to us so we can work something out. Thank you!

Day 1: Saturday, April 27, 2024:

Mixed Novice Foil - 8:00AM

Mixed Saber - 9:00AM

Mixed Épée - 10:30AM

Mixed Foil - 12:30PM

Day 1 Prices:

$25 First event preregistered

$30 Each additional event preregistered

$30 First event without preregistration

$35 Each additional event without preregistration

Note: Those registered for novice foil can not participate in any other event on Day 1. Novice foil is meant for those who have less than one year of fencing experience.

Day 2: Sunday, April 28, 2024:

Team Epee - 9:00AM

Team Saber - 9:00AM

Team Foil - 10:00AM

Doubles épée - 1:30PM

Day 2 Prices:

$50 per team for team foil, epee, and saber.

$10 per team for Doubles épée.

Note: All teams except doubles épée must be co-ed (at least one male and one female). Competing in multiple team events is allowed, only under the condition that you are the 4th fencer on the team. Being in the starting 3 fencers for multiple teams is not allowed. Doing Doubles Epee is still allowed on top of the teams event.

Davis Fencing Academy is located at 2121 2nd Street a104, Davis, CA 95618.

Parking is available and is free. Besides the parking lot in front of Davis Fencing Academy, there is another nearby parking lot at Sudwek Brewing Company (

2001 2nd Street, Davis, CA 95618) which is also free and available.
