Our Educational Tournaments are designed to help athletes gain confidence and experience by applying their skills in a supportive/educational competition setting.

Why an Educational Tournament? 

  1. Practice tournament preparation 
  2. Apply skills against new opponents
  3. Learn to grow confident in competition


At These Events: 

  1. We walk athletes & parents through each step of the competition, including what to expect & best practices when travelling for regional & national tournaments.
  2. Event staff & helpers are available to assist athletes & answer any questions that may come up throughout the event!
  3. Tournament information (Seeding, Pool Sheets, Bout Order, DE Bracket) is visibly presented with explanations to show how competitions work. 


*For Athletes:

  1. Arrive 30-60 minutes before Registration Closes & your Event Begins! This will allow for ample time to check-in and warm-up. 
  2. Bring a snack and plenty of water. 
  3. Full Uniform is Required- We can provide anything you don’t have already! 


*Important Additional Info:

  1. Events are capped at 8 registrations, or 16 if it is a mixed event. 
  2. Events of the same age group with 4 or fewer registrations will be mixed to provide maximum value to participating athletes
  3. If a mixed event has 4 or fewer registered participants, we will cancel that event. 
  4. Registration will typically close on Thursday before the event so we can announce any mixes / cancellations on Friday. Keen an eye out for emails!

Y14 Epee (Born 2010-2014): 8:00am Start

Y12 Epee (Born 2012-2015): 10:30am Start

Y10 Epee (Born 2014-2017): 1:00pm Start


Billing:

$50 per Event

  1. For RFA / PHX Members: Billed automatically via ZenPlanner
  2. For Non-Members: Pay-on-Site; Bring cash for a faster payment process!
