AAU/FLA FENCING NATIONALS 2024

Trophies will be awarded to all first places.

Medals will be awarded to 8th place in all the youth events.

At AAU Fencing, we always strive to give women their own fair playfield, so whenever posible we make the events separated by gender. In case we are forced to combine an event into a mixed category due to the number of participants, we will award the top male fencer and the top female fencer in those particular event as champions of their category.

The event will be held at the beautiful town of Valdosta GA at the Valdosta State University Student Recreation Facility.

This event is licensed by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and sanctioned by the Fencing League of America (FLA), all fencers must to hold a current AAU athlete membership.

The ratings will awarded by Fencing League of America including youth events.

ABOUT AAU

AAU/FLA is heavily focused on youth athletes and making the sport accesible for all, regardless of their financial circumstances or limitations.

RULES:

Competition will be played by FLA and adopted AAU Rules. (Based on the international FIE rules)

COACHES’ EDUCATION: The AAU is happy to make available FREE Coaches' Education for all AAU non-athlete members. This program is administered by Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). Positive Coaching Alliance is a national nonprofit dedicated to fostering a positive youth sports culture that builds character and helps children and young people learn essential social and emotional skills.
