EVENTS: 9am - DOORS OPEN 9:30am - Junior Men's Sabre 11am - Junior Women's Sabre 12:30pm - Senior Women's Sabre 2:30pm - Senior Mixed Sabre This is a Bay Cup tournament. Bay Cup admin fees pay for medals, administration and management of Bay Cup operations. There is no Bay Cup annual membership option this season. Standings in Bay Cup series will be tracked but there will be no end-of-season prizes to help keep event fees more affordable. BAY CUP ADMIN FEE: $5 HOST CLUB EVENT FEE: $40 TOTAL FEES PER EVENT: $45 Regular Entry: $45 if prepaid online At-the-door Registration Policy: $10 additional fee for same day registration per event Preregistration is only valid with prepayment. Pre-registration closes at the end of the day on Friday before this event. Refund Policy: Please contact us by the close of online registration for a refund. We'll refund your paid fees, minus any AskFred fees, taxes or chargebacks. No refunds will be given on the same day as or after the tournament. BAY CUP COVID PROTOCOLS (Effective Through December 2021) The Bay Cup is currently only scheduling Junior, Senior, and Veteran events for 2021 and is planning to schedule Youth events beginning in 2022. The current protocols are as follows: Proof of Vaccination: All participants, coaches, and spectators must show proof of full vaccination. Referees and event staff must be fully vaccinated. Facemasks: All participants in USA Fencing sanctioned events, including coaches, athletes, spectators and staff, MUST wear a facemask that covers mouth and nose at all times, including during competition. Social Distancing: Everyone should practice proper social distancing measures at all times while in the venue. Handshakes: Athletes are to salute at the conclusion of a bout and touch blades in lieu of shaking hands with each other, the referee or coaches. We will not be able to allow the entrance of anyone who did not follow these guidelines and will not be able to refund the fees for non-admission. EVENT FORMAT: One round of pools with 100% promotion to simple direct eliminations. Small events have the option (by majority vote) to fence two rounds of pools with 100% promotion to simple direct eliminations. WAIVER: By registering for the tournament, you as a participant, or your parent or guardian for participants under the age of 18, are confirming that you or your parent or guardian have read and are in agreement with the conditions of the waiver located at the Resources section of The Bay Cup website: http://thebaycup.net/all-resources/waiver/ By registering for the tournament you are accepting the photo/video release.
