The Margherita Guzzi Vincenti Cup

Welcome to the third year of The Margherita Guzzi Vincenti Cup! This tournament is a Wisconsin sanctioned tournament, a great and strong event to start the season with. Come join us! This year all the individual competitions will be on Saturday October 29th, while a MIXED TEAM TOURNAMENT will be held on Sunday October 30th. Please note that registration closes 30 minutes before the start of the event. SCHEDULED EVENTS AND STARTING TIMES ON SATURDAY 10/29/22 Y10 Mixed Epee Oct 29 9:00AM Senior Mixed Foil Oct 29 9:00AM Y12 Mixed Epee Oct 29 10:30AM Junior Mixed Epee Oct 29 10:30AM Cadet Mixed Epee Oct 29 11:30AM Senior Mixed Epee Oct 29 1:00PM SCHEDULED EVENTS AND STARTING TIMES ON SUNDAY 10/30/22 Y12Y14 Mixed Team Epee Oct 30 9:00AM Senior Mixed Team Epee Oct 30 12:00PM MIXED TEAM rules: 1) Teams will be formed by 2 people (teams can have two males, two females, or one male and one female) 2) Teams will fence up to 20 touches 3) In the first relay fencers can fence up to 5 touches or 3 minutes (whichever one comes first), in the second relay fencers can fence more touches if needed to get to the 10 touches, or 3 minutes. In the third relay the score goes to 15 touches, or 3 minutes, and in the final and fourth relay 20 touches or 3 minutes. This is a fun even which requires team work, good communication and plan execution. If interested in participating you can sign up in the mixed team even on Sunday October 30th. DEADLINES: Preregistration opens on 09/02/2022 Preregistration closes on 10/22/2022 FEES AND REQUIREMENTS: the cost per event is $40 (for any individual event) BEFORE the deadline, $55 AFTER the deadline. The cost of the Sunday mixed team tournament is $50 BEFORE the deadline, $65 AFTER the deadline. All fencers must have a valid and current USFA membership.
