EASTERN TIME ZONE. This is a USA Fencing Recognized High School Tournament open to high school students enrolled in grades 9-12. Please register by Wednesday, December 5th, 2018. See more info for eligibility requirements.

FRED Announces the Midwest High School Open. ========== This is a Recognized USA Fencing High School Event. Details may be found in the USA Fencing handbook. OPEN TO ALL HIGH SCHOOL FENCERS WITH ONE EXCEPTION: If you are enrolled in a Great Lakes High School Conference member school and do not fence on their varsity or club team, you may not compete in this event per Great Lakes High School Fencing Conference rules. If you have any questions, please email the tournament organizers. VENUE: STEINBRENNER REC. CENTER, CULVER ACADEMIES, 1300 ACADEMY RD., CULVER, IN 46511 USFA MEMBERSHIP IS NOT REQUIRED - Conductive Lame Bib required for all foil events. ALL LISTED TIMES ARE EASTERN. Members of the Great Lakes HS Fencing Conference fees are $20. Non-member fees are $30 with preregistration. Note - preregistration is required, no walk ups. Awards: Medals for the Top-8 fencers in each event. Best Overall Squad trophies for each weapon (lowest combined total for your top-4 fencers in each event). Non-GLHSFC competitors will represent their competition club (as listed with their USFA membership) OR their high school team. Composite teams will not be recognized. Hotel accommodations may be found in the neighboring towns of Plymouth and Knox. Please double check which time zone the hotel is in. Concessions will be available on site.
