TN Division Junior Olympic Qualifying Tournament 2025

This is the qualifying tournament for Junior Olympics for eligible fencers in the TN Division.
This is the TN Division Junior Olympic Qualifier. Junior Olympics will be held January 9-12 in Kansas City, MO.
This tournament is one of the mechanisms to qualify for Junior Olympics. Qualification can be achieved by being on the national points list for age and weapon, by earning 120 regional points in a fencer's best two events for age and weapon, or by finishing in the top 3 or top 25%, whichever is bigger, in this tournament. You must be a member of the TN Division of USA Fencing to register for and compete in this tournament and qualify for Junior Olympics.
If three or fewer competitors are signed up for an event, all of the fencers qualify automatically and are not required to fence. Fencers must still register and pay for the tournament events to earn the automatic qualification. If there are 4-12 fencers, the top 3 will qualify. If there are 13 are more fencers, then 25% (rounded up) will qualify. There will be a fence off for third place. Fencers qualifying for the junior event will also qualify for the cadet event. If after the junior event, there are 3 or fewer unqualified fencers remaining for the corresponding cadet event, it may not be fenced.
Times will be subject to change for the events that will take place. Please check the schedule and monitor messages from askfred in advance of the event data. The current posted times are only PLACEHOLDERS. The final event times will be posted by Nov 16, 2026. You should anticipate that Junior events will take place in the morning and the Cadet events will follow.
You have to sign up on AskFred before the deadline of Monday, November 10th, to be considered an entry and pay the entry fee. NO LATE ENTRIES ALLOWED.
All fencers must have a current USA Fencing Membership (competitive, collegiate competitive, coach, or life) and must provide their membership number upon registration.
Payments must be made via askfred to complete the registration.
