Forge Fencing Priority on NC:D3 Foil/Epee/Saber

Thank your North Carolina for supporting the growth of our Priority on Youth Series. To meet the growing need of our state, we are hosting Division 3 (Rating D & Under) events for foil, epee, and saber. Entry fees are $35 per event, and do not combine with the Priority on Youth multi-event discount. This is to support the additional cost of running a sanctioned event. Please pre-register in advance, fencers who arrive to fence, but haven't pre-registered will be able to fence at double fees. This event is being held in conjunction with our Priority on Youth Series. By hosting these sanctioned events, we will be able to raise the competitive standard, allow athletes to earn ratings, and continue to develop more fencing referees for North Carolina. Priority on Youth #3: https://askfred.net/Events/whoIsComing.php?tournament_id=52313 Eligibility & Requirements Age Requirements - Athletes must be born 2009 or earlier Rating Requirements - Athletes that are "U", "E", or "D" Membership Requirements - Athletes must be a current competitive or access member with USA Fencing. Equipment Requirements Full equipment to USA Fencing rules and standards is required and will be enforced. Athletes must wear full uniform, including long socks. Each athlete is required to have at minimum 2 working body cords, 2 working mask cords (foil/saber), and 2 working weapons. Expect some form of equipment check at the event. If you are using a Leon Paul X-change mask, you must use the additional neck strap per USA Fencing policy Additional details specific to each weapon: Saber: Athletes must have an FIE (800N) competition glove Foil: Foil masks with conductive bib surface are required.
