Seventh Annual Yellow Jacket Open

Come join us for the 7th Annual Yellow Jacket Open! Hosted by Georgia Tech’s fencing club. Doors open at 8am! Entry This is a USFA event. Proof of membership will be required. First event $25, subsequent events $20. *Members of collegiate clubs who arrange in advance to bring strip equipment are eligible for a $5 per event discount. *A's receive a $10 discount in their rated weapon. B's receive a $5 discount in their rated weapon. *Please bring Check or Card to pay for your events. Schedule Doors open at 8am! Saturday, March 12 8:30am - Open Epee 11am - Open Sabre 1 pm - D & Under Epee 3 pm - D & Under Sabre Sunday, March 13 9 am - Open Foil 12 pm - D & Under Foil **In events with 80 or more participants, the top 80% will advance from pools to DEs. In events with 79 or less participants, all fencers will advance from pools to DEs. There are no additional rounds planned for fencers who do not make DE cuts. Referees Anyone interested in officiating at this event should contact Tim Kierzkowski timothydjk@gatech.edu All interested referees must be USFA rated and hold a current USFA Professional Membership Venue We are back to our old venue, the Campus Recreation Center on Georgia Tech's Campus. Parking can be found near the venue for $5 or less. As such, we are reducing the cost of all first events by $5 to make up for the parking cost. Questions?
