1st Annual Bruce Capin Memorial Brawl

ALL FENCERS MUST HAVE CURRENT USA FENCING COMPETITIVE MEMBERSHIP. WALK-IN POLICY: Fencers who did not register by Friday, 2/11, and still wish to compete may do so for increased fees: First event $50, subsequent events $40. PREPAYMENT: Prepayment through AskFred will be required. All preregistrations that have not prepaid through AskFred will be deleted the night of 2/9, and walk-in rates will be charged to anyone who has not prepaid by that time. REFUND POLICY: There will be no refunds offered after February 9th!!! EVENT CAPS: 72 for open epee event, 84 for foil events, 70 for saber events. WAIVER POLICY: In accordance with UF policies, the BCMB 2023 Waiver MUST be filled out by all competitors. WEAPON AND EQUIPMENT CHECK: We will check for masks and gloves for all three weapons. Saber fencers must use an 800N glove as per USA Fencing regulation. We will check mask strap elasticity. OFFICIALS: If you wish to referee, please contact UF Fencing at tourneys.fencing.uf@gmail.com. Head Referee: Maria Panyi. PARKING AND VENUE: There is open parking on the weekends next to and across the street from Southwest Recreation Center. FOOD AND DRINK: Food and drink with the exception of water is NOT permitted inside the gym. Food and drinks other than water may be kept and consumed outside in the picnic area.
