Eminence Fencing Academy Winter Youth Open 2024

Join our unsanctioned youth fencing tournament for (Y-8,Y-10,Y-12 Mixed Foil)!Designed to build skills, sportsmanship, and passion for fencing across Illinois.
Parking: Free parking is available onsite. Please follow designated signs and directions from event staff.
Spectators: Spectators are welcome! Admission is free, but please respect designated spectator areas and avoid restricted sections. All attendees are expected to follow our code of conduct.
Refund Policy: Registration fees are non-refundable. However, credits may be issued for future events in case of emergencies or cancellations.
Payment Options: Payments can be made in advance via AskFRED website until December 28, when online registration closes. For those registering on-site on December 29, the fee will be higher at $45. We accept credit cards, Zelle, and cash, online payment thru AskFRED.
Awards: Athletes will be awarded medals and valuable prizes for outstanding performance.
Equipment Requirements for the Competition
To participate in the competition, all fencers must wear complete equipment in accordance with USA Fencing rules. However, there are the following exceptions:
- Fencing Pants:
Competitors are allowed to compete without fencing pants. Instead, they must wear long sports pants that fully cover the legs.
2. Soft Padding on Chest Protector:
The use of soft padding on a plastic chest protector is optional. A standard plastic chest protector is sufficient.
Membership: with USA Fencing is not required as the competitions are not sanctioned.
