Nyack Fencing Academy - NY/NJ High School Open

This is an open tournament for all High Schooler fencers in Rockland, Westchester, Bergen, and sourounding NY/NJ counties. The winner will be crowned the NY/NJ Champion. Fees: $30 pre-registered on ask fred (payments are made at the club) $40 at the door (not pre-registered). This is not a USFA event and you do not need a USFA membership. This is NOT a sanctioned USFA competition, but is governed by the USFA rules. All fencers must wear USFA-required fencing attire (proper shoes, tube socks, fencing knickers, plastron, chest guard for girls and epee fencers, jacket, functional lame, proper mask and proper gauntlet) and bring at least 2 working weapons and 2 working body cords. FORMAT - One round of pools with 100% promotion to Direct Elimination rounds. - Tie for 3rd - Medals for top 4 places - Fencers are responsible for ensuring accuracy of all posted information and must report errors to the bout committee immediately. Fencer signature on pool score sheets and DE bout slip required. All payments must be in cash or check only LIABILITY WAIVER ** Upon entering this tournament you agree to abide by the current rules of the USFA and other applicable rules instituted by Nyack Fencing Academy. You acknowledge you are entering this tournament at your own risk and release the USFA and its sponsors, Nyack Fencing Academy, and referees from any liability.
