Avant Garde Fencers Club invites you to our Youth Spring Foil Tournament. Local level tournaments are a great practice experience, and all are welcome.
Full fencing uniform and USA Fencing Access or Competitive membership is required. To purchase USA Fencing Membership, please visit https://www.usafencing.org/membership
Events Scheduled (Check in Close times)
1pm - Y10 Boys and Girls Foil - fencers born in 2015-2018
2pm - Y12 Boys and Girls Foil - fencer born in 2013-2016
330pm - Y8 Boys and Girls Foil - fencers born in 2017-2019
If there are fewer than 6 fencers in either gender for the age group, the event will be fenced mixed and separate awards will be given.
Check-In opens one hour before the event. Please arrive ahead of check in time so that we may start promptly.
Format: One round of pools with 100% promotion to direct elimination and not fence off for 3rd place. All bouts will have a referee.
Medals will be awarded to the top 4 fencers in each event.
Entry Fee: $65.00 per event. Payment will be collected at the tournament. Cash, Venmo, or Zelle is accepted.

Registration: You must be re-registered on AskFred to participate. No late entrees or at the Door registration will be allowed. Kindly remove your entry or contact us directly if your plans change and you will not be able to participate, as our events are capped and we may have a waitlist.
Current USA Fencing membership (Competitive or Access Membership) is required for participation in this tournament. All USA Fencing rules apply.

All parking spots in front of our building (including the spaces marked Barry Plating Co.) There is also street parking on Olympic Blvd.
Our overflow parking lot - turn south from Olympic Blvd, one block west of Barry Avenue, through the alley (behind Sir Speedy) and park for free in the designated parking lot (with yellow metal gates - Barry Plating Co.)
DO NOT Park in front of Meraki Gym. Towing is enforced.
No armory or equipment repair on site.
