Note: IUP lists the address as 1190 West Maple Street for GPS purposes, Google Maps will not understand this address. Parking is behind Zink. Participants on our D and under are reminded that this competition is a USFA event, and the Western PA Division requires all fencers to be able to provide proof of current membership at check-in. This can include either * A current USFA membership card showing a valid to date of at least 7/31/2011 * A computer printout of your current membership from the Railstation web site * A computer printout of a one day membership valid for the date of the competition To renew your membership, obtain a single day membership or to print a valid membership card (if you have misplaced your own), please visit the USA Fencing Membership web site here: https://www.railstation.org/usfencing/ NOTE: in order to log onto the web site, you will need to have your e-mail and password that was initially used to login on when you first applied for membership. If you have never logged onto this site before, you will need to create a new account. While there will be an available computer with web access at the competition, in order to use the USFencing (RailStation) website to re-new your membership will probably need to be able to access their e-mail in order to complete their membership application. This process can take quite a while to complete, so we encourage all fencers to get this done BEFORE arriving at the competition. Finally, we will be having a weapons control check-in. Depending on the number of volunteers that we get from the club we will be at the very least testing body cords, and masks, while possibly testing foil lames as well. While most of you have been to competitions before and know what to expect, I want to remind you to please have your equipment ready to be tested (body cords unwrapped and untangled, mask available) prior to approaching the Armorer. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, Feb 27th!
