WGFA College Colors Team III

CELEBRATE NATIONAL COLLEGE COLORS DAY! Welcome to Winter Garden Fencing Academy's promotion of higher education, sanctioned by USFA Central Florida Division, Inc. This is a team tournament that requires USFA membership. Registration closes midnight, Wednesday, 09/07/2016. YOU SPOKE, WE LISTENED!! For two years running, this has been the largest team competition in the state of Florida. We want to keep that forward momentum. Several of you provided constructive feedback, and we took action. 1) Change the venue - The previous gym had plenty of space and was practically free, which meant more money could be donated. However, the A/C was very unreliable. We've moved the competition this year! 2) Use grounded strips - In the past, we opted not to use the Division's strips due to cost and condition, but now we have six of our very own light-weight strips! 3) What about saber? - Ok! TEAM ENTRY IS ONLY $75!! - only $25 per head! INDIVIDUAL EVENTS ARE ONLY $20 EACH Fees are required to complete registration and can be made on AskFRED, or by check made payable to Winter Garden Fencing Academy, 44 South Main Street, Winter Garden 34787. POLICIES AND STUFF Fees are non-refundable unless we cancel your event or you withdraw BEFORE close of registration. This competition celebrates higher education and team spirit. It should be a little obnoxious, but not taken too seriously. Have fun! SAFETY AND ARMORY POLICY Masks and body cords will be tested as usual. Full fencing attire is required, including socks that meet the knee. If you show up with crew socks (or no socks), you will not be permitted to fence.
