En Garde Fencing is proud to bring back the "Joe Odom" 3 weapon team tournament. Each team must have 3 members, 1 of which of the opposite sex (Two Women, 1 man. Or 2 Men and 1 Women). This is one of the WPD's longest running traditions and a lot of fun!

En Garde Fencing is proud to bring back the "Joe Odom" 3 weapon team tournament. Each team must have 3 members, 1 of which of the opposite sex (Two Women, 1 man. Or 1 Man and 2 Women). This is one of the WPD's longest running tradition and a lot of fun! Events Scheduled: Mixed Foil, Epee, Saber Team. Teams will be put into pools, exactly like a USFA tournament. Matches will be a 15 touch relay. Each bout being 5 touches, timed for 3 minutes. Scores carry over to the next bout. First team to 15 or highest score by the end of the time limit will win their match. Before each match, the referee will pick the order that the weapons will be fenced out of a hat. A fencer can only fence one bout per match. Fencers do not have to be designated to one weapon. They may switch after each match as much as they would like. After the Pools, 100% of teams will be promoted to the DE's. DE Matches, just like pool matches will be to 15 touches. Weapon order will be randomly generated by the ref. Team fees will be $25.00 if Pre Registered, or $30.00 at the door. A traveling trophy will be awarded to the winning team. Some equipment will be available to rent/borrow depending what you need.
