The 2009 UC Davis Open

Come join us for a fencetastic weekend to finish off the collegiate season on the weekend of April 4/5. On April 5, standard NCIFL individual tournament events and rules apply: *This tournament is restricted to those who a possess a valid form of student ID for a university or college. *Direct elmination rounds will be fenced to ten points and will consist of two three-minute periods. *Fencers will be limited to just one-crossover during the individual events. *Novice Foil is restricted to those with less than one year of experience. - Preregistration: $15 for first event, $10 for second event - Registration at the door: $20 for first event, $15 for second event Note: This is not a USFA event Prizes, medals, and trophies will be awarded to those deemed most worthy! Events Scheduled for Saturday 4/4: Mixed Novice Foil 9:15am Mixed Advanced Foil 10:30am Mixed Epee 11:30am Mixed Saber 12:30pm Prices for Team events will be $40 per team (Note: Doubles epee is FREE!). *Teams must be Co-ed (no cross-dressings please). *Team tournament will be race format (first to 45 points wins). *Fencers will be restricted to just ONE WEAPON during team events in order for the event to run more smoothly. (However fencers may compete in both a team event and doubles epee). *Medals will be awarded to top three teams in each weapon (there will be a fence-off for third). Note: Team seedings will be based on individual placement on Saturday's events. Events Scheduled for Sunday 4/5: Mixed Team Foil 9:30am Mixed Team Epee 10:30am Mixed Team Saber 11:30am Mixed DOUBLES!
