The Southwest Open is a USA Fencing sanctioned event open to the public, co-hosted by Texas A&M University and the Southwest Intercollegiate Fencing Association.
Registration deadline extended to Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023!
EVENT INFORMATION
Per Texas A&M policy, participants are restricted to those of 18 years of age and older.
There is no tournament fee, only registration per event.
Members of SWIFA schools pay $20 per event, and non-members $35. Payment can be submitted here (on the SWIFA website) or paid in cash at the door.
As events will occur simultaneously, participants are limited to registration for only one (1) event.

Participants and spectators should look to park in the West Campus Garage, across Corrington Dr from the Student Rec Center.
ABOUT SWIFA
The Southwest Intercollegiate Fencing Association (SWIFA) is the local conference for collegiate fencing teams in the southwest United States. We are an entirely volunteer-run organization, ensuring that all of our available funding goes directly to fairly paying tournament officials and supporting the athletes in every school of our conference.
