This event is for fencers beginning their competitive journey. The event is unsanctioned and will be for teaching the athletes how a competition runs focusing on encouraging their development as athletes. Format: One Round of Pools followed by 100% promotion to DEs with all places fenced out. Fees: $30 per entry Medals to top 4, Certificates to places 5 thru 8. This event will be serving as a development tool for referees in the area as well. New referees are always needed and need the opportunity to experience tournaments from the role of an official in a friendly and educational environment.
