The Purdue Fencing Club is hosting their annual Purdue Winter Open! There will be mixed & women's events for all weapons! Tournament fee is $30 plus $10 / women's event and $15 / mixed event fees.

The Purdue Fencing Club will be hosting their annual Fall Open Tournament on December 6, 2025! The tournament will be held at the Lambert (Ward L.) Fieldhouse and Gymnasium, located at:

800 W Stadium Ave, West Lafayette, IN 47906


Details for the event are as follows:


Schedule:

  1. The venue will open at 8:00 AM for check-in and equipment check, with fencing starting at 9:00 AM.
  2. The tournament will include both mixed and women's events, for all weapons.
  3. Provisional order of fencing will be


  1. 9:00AM: MIXED Epee
  2. 9:30AM: WOMENS Saber
  3. 10:30AM: WOMENS Foil


  1. NOON: MIXED Saber
  2. 12:30PM: WOMENS Epee


  1. 3:00PM: MIXED Foil


  1. Registration for each event will close 30 minutes prior to its start. We aim to have pools posted on Fencing Time Live 10-15 minutes prior to event start.


Fees:

  1. There is a $30 tournament registration fee, with event fees of $10 per women's event and $15 per mixed event.
  2. If registering at the door, it is a $45 tournament registration fee plus relevant event fees. Please make sure to have your membership card available if registering at the door.
  3. All payments must be cash or check ONLY.


Waitlist:

  1. Should an event reach its cap, you may join the waitlist by contacting bout committee at (219) 351-0534.


Equipment Inspection:

  1. Equipment check will be for gloves (800N required for sabre) and masks (conductive bib required for foil).


Sanctioning:

  1. The Individual’s Open Tournament will be a USFA Sanctioned event. As such, we will be following all USFA policies, Purdue University ethics & compliance policies, and Indiana state laws.
  2. A minimum of an ACCESS membership with the USFA will required to compete.
