IGNORE THE NEW ASKFRED SITE, IT IS NOT PROPERLY SYNCED. THIS EVENT IS BEING RUN ON THE OLD ASKFRED SITE> ALL FENCERS MUST HAVE CURRENT USA FENCING COMPETITIVE MEMBERSHIP. WALK-IN POLICY: Fencers who did not register by 11/15, and still wish to compete may do so for increased fees: First event $50, subsequent events $40. PREPAYMENT: Prepayment through AskFred will be required. All preregistrations that have not prepaid through AskFred will be deleted the night of 11/15, and walk-in rates will be charged to anyone who has not prepaid by that time. REFUND POLICY: There will be no refunds offered after November 10th!!! EVENT CAPS: None! WAIVER POLICY: In accordance with UF policies, the O&B 2023 Waiver MUST be filled out by all competitors. WEAPON AND EQUIPMENT CHECK: We will check for masks and gloves for all three weapons. Saber fencers must use an 800N glove as per USA Fencing regulation. We will check mask strap elasticity. VENDOR: VA Fencing Gear will be selling equipment at the venue. OFFICIALS: If you wish to referee, please contact UF Fencing at tourneys.fencing.uf@gmail.com. Head Referee: Maria Panyi. PARKING AND VENUE: There is open parking at the venue. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance as well as several hotels. FOOD AND DRINK: Food and drink with the exception of water is NOT permitted inside the gym. Food and drinks other than water may be kept and consumed outside in the picnic area. This is the policy of the gym space we are using.
