This is a Referee Certification Seminar for all levels wanting to learn more about becoming a certified referee for USA Fencing. We will cover the basics fencing rules, applications and actions.
Referee Certification Seminar /w Patrick Webster
This seminar meets the certification seminar requirements becoming a referee for USA Fencing.
This is a full day seminar wherein we will cover the rules of fencing and the application of those rules in context. We will be reviewing the equipment of fencing, controlled elements and safety features. There will be a discussion about actions and interpretations.
(There has been some feedback that people would like a full day opportunity for a seminar on a weekend-day as the 2 session weekday evenings also corresponds to many practice schedules. I look forward to seeing this options success)
Seminar Date: Sunday 9/14/2025
Time: 11:00 AM ET to 7:00 PM with periodic breaks
Method: Online format on with Zoom Links to be sent out to registered participants
Payment Options: Venmo and PayPal - Payment Links will be sent out to registered participants
Cost: With this being an online only seminar, the cost is $65 for adults, $50 for students and minors
