Fees:
Registration and payment are made through the individual events (example -Y8 Mixed Epee), teams are created through the team events (example - Y8 Mixed Epee Team).
For best results, only the team captain should register and create the team. AskFRED team creation is not easy, so let us know if you're having trouble and we can help on our end.
There are a maximum of 6 teams allowed per age event.
Each fencer pays a $10 admin fee (non-refundable) and a $32 entry fee per event through the AskFRED portal.
There will be an additional admin fee through the AskFRED portal.
For refunds please contact us directly, DO NOT process them through the AskFRED portal or your credit card.
Tournament Rules:
Some of the items mentioned below may seem obvious, but safety is utmost.
All fencers will be required to:
- wear a fencing jacket, fencing pants with long socks, plastron (1/2 jacket), chest protector (optional for M events), mask and a glove in good condition.
- wear decent, well fitting NON-MARKING inside-only runners.
- wear proper-sized, tucked-in t-shirts to insure that there isn't any skin showing between jacket edges and pants.
- use well-maintained weapons in good operating condition.
CFF Licenses:
All participating fencers will be required to have their CFF license (or foreign equivalent) for liability reasons.
Licenses can be obtained at: www.fencing.ca
Fencing Equipment:
All participants must have their own gear or borrowed from their club.
TFF will have very limited equipment to borrow during the event, so participants must come prepared with “back up” weapons, lames and wires.
