Our December youth tournament - the second event on the Heartland Youth Circuit! Join us for Y10, Y12, Y14, Cadet, and Junior mixed epee events. Awards to top 4 in each age division.
Our December youth tournament! Join us for Y10, Y12, Y14, Cadet, and Junior mixed epee events. Awards to top 4 in each age division. This is also the 2nd Heartland Youth Circuit event in the 22-23 season, so kids will earn HYC points for all events fenced. Points from the fencer's top 3 finishes in HYC events are used calculate placings at the end of the season. Events Scheduled: Saturday, Dec. 17 12:00 PM - Y10 Mixed Epee 1:00 PM - Y14 Mixed Epee 3:00 PM - Y12 Mixed Epee Sunday, Dec. 18 10:00 AM - Cadet Mixed Epee 1:00 PM - Junior Mixed Epee Location: Red Door Fencing 220 E. 3rd St. Des Moines, IA Cost: $10 per event With the exception of Junior Mixed Epee, the tournament is not sanctioned by USA Fencing, but we will follow USA Fencing rules. Sanctioning request for Junior Mixed Epee is pending. Minimum of Access level USA Fencing membership is required for sanctioned events.
