Fencing Frenzy

The Academy of Fencing will be hosting the Fencing Frenzy at the Houston Athletic Fencing Center. EQUIPMENT CHECK INFO Full equipment checks will be preformed. Saber cuffs and underarm protectors are required. SCHEDULE: Times listed are the close of registration. Registration will open One hour before the posted closing time. Saturday February 27, 2010 9:00....D & Under Womens Foil 9:30....D & Under Womens Epee 9:00....D & Under Mixed Foil 1:00....Mixed Novice Foil 11:30...Y-14 Mixed Foil Sunday February 28, 2010 9:00....D & Under Womens Sabre 11:00...D & Under Mixed Epee 9:30....D & Under Mixed Saber 10:00...Y-12 Mixed Foil 10:00...Y-10 Mixed Foil 12:00...Y-14 Sabre 1:00....Mixed Novice Sabre Novice events are Non-USFA. Fencers who have been fencing less than one year qualify to fence Novice events. Equipment rental will also be available for Novice Events Only. FEES Registration: $20 Each weapon: $5 USFA Membership Current competitive membership of the USFA required (membership will be available at the venue). If your membership is not pre-validated, you must be prepared to show proof of USFA membership, or at the door, fill out a membership form and pay $60 - check or credit card. Persons under age 18 MUST have a parent's signature on the USFA form. Waiver of Liability ***All participants must sign a Waiver of Liability form which can be found on the Gulf Coast Division Website. Fencers under age 18 must have a parent's signature on this form. The Fencing Store will be open. Preregistration opens on 01/28/2010. Preregistration closes on 02/25/2010.
