Medeo's Fall Harvest Div II Epee Saturday, 11/20/2010 CLOSE OF CHECK-IN TIMES: SATURDAY, 11/20/2010 Senior Women's Div II EPEE 2 PM* Senior Men's Div II EPEE 2 PM* *Event will be mixed if less than 6 of either gender show. (Which would be a real bummer. Compare it to 15 women showing up- that would mean up to 4 women could get rated or renewed! C'mon ladies!) ~Division II means C, D, E & U rated fencers. Special Pricing: $30 IF you pre-register AND pay online by Friday,11/19*. $40 IF you pre-register online by Friday, 11/19 BUT pay at the door. $45 for walk-ins (that haven't pre-registered online). *Online preregistration closes on FRIDAY, 11/19/2010. **Payment at the door can be by cash or check (made out to Medeo Fencing Club). ABOUT DIRECTIONS: When you use the Google Maps link, please note that once you turn onto Kearney St. (into our industrial park), you will turn RIGHT at the street before the Star-Ledger building. (First street on the right.) We are then located all the way at the end on the left. *Please take down our number and call our office if you feel you might be a few minutes late or if you need directions: 732-469-2244 AGE REQUIREMENTS: Senior means those fencers born in or before 1997. Division II means C, D, E & U rated fencers. >>FIRST-TIME COMPETITORS SHOULD READ THIS CAREFULLY: Format and Sanctioning: This tournament is sanctioned by the New Jersey Division of the USFA. All fencers are expected to wear the required fencing attire (including knee-hi socks!) and bring at least two weapons and body cords that meet USFA requirements. In all Y10 events, fencers must use blades that are 30" or 32" (i.e., blades that are designated a "0" or "2"). There are no exceptions to the attire and equipment rules. You must have proof of valid USFA membership OR join the USFA at the event*. If you have not received your membership card yet for this season, but are listed on the usfencing.org membership list, you can now sign in and print out a temporary card! *Visit http://www.usfencing.org for more info or to print out the USFA membership application -with payment- to bring with you on Sunday.
