Olympia Summer Camp for ages 9-13 (July 1-5)

Camp designed for beginner and intermediate fencers.

Beginner fencers will acquire basic fencing skills including footwork, blade work, & distance control.

Full fencing gear is provided at no cost.

Campers will use electrical scoring equipment, and understand fencing etiquette, rules & sportsmanship.

More experienced fencers will focus on furthering their technique, strategic thinking, situational bouting, & conditioning.

Time: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Cost: $625.00/week or $135.00/day

Three minimum days are required. 10% Sibling Discount.

2-hour extended pick-up available ($15/hour)

IMPORTANT

At least TEN PEOPLE are required daily, so the camp can happen.

Full fencing gear is included for non-members.

What to bring:

1. Long, athletic pants (mandatory during bouting, shorts can be worn for

stretching, footwork, and games).

2. Sports shoes (tennis shoes are good)

3. Extra T-shirt

4. Water bottle (a filtered water fountain is available)

5. Bagged lunch.

(Iggy's bakery store is three minutes away. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are within a 3-minute drive)

The required USFA waivers will be sent to be filled out on the day prior to the camp starting date.These are valid for 14 days.

If fewer than 10 people register for the camp, it may be canceled, and your deposit will be refunded in full.
