Beginning to all competitive levels fencers can train with Master Guo and Coach Diaz at an early summer Camp. Training includes; techniques, tactics and strategy, bouting and analysis.

Beginning to all competitive levels fencers are invited to an early Summer Camp. Training includes; techniques, tactics and strategy, bouting and analysis.
Coaches for this camp will be Olympic Gold Medal Coach Ying Guo, and Vet Pan American Gold medalist Julio Diaz.
Because Coach Guo and Coach Diaz will be attentive to each fencer; space will be limited to the first 25 fencers registered.
Campers should bring bouting uniform and gear.
$300 camp fee for one week camp (daily camp: $65 per day) includes lunch and snack.
New fencers receive $100 discount to join Eagle Fencing Club after the camp. Extended care is available between 4pm-6pm: $10 per day
*Note: Preregistration is required with a $50 nonrefundable deposit. Balance is due prior to the start of camp.
PROGRAM DETAILS:
9:00am - 12pm Morning Activities:
1. warm up
2. flexibility and coordination training
3. games to train competitiveness, hand and foot coordination; varies on different days
4. footwork and fundamental practice
5. stretch and relaxation
12pm - 1pm: lunch break
1pm - 4pm Afternoon Activities:
1. warm up
2. footwork and fundamental practice
3. tournaments: younger beginners: use AF LED vest and plastic weapons/mask to fence
other fencers: fencing tournaments
Monday: trial tournaments to seed
Tuesday: conditional open fencing to achieve assigned number of touches based upon the seeding level on Monday
Wednesday: tournament to seed again
Thursday: conditional open fencing to achieve assigned number of touches based upon the seeding level on Wednesday
Friday: graduate tournament: $20 gift card for first place, $10 gift card for 2nd place, $5 gift card for two third place.
