Please register for the MN Division Annual Meeting at 4 pm Saturday June 21st, 2025


An email will be sent to MN Division members in May by USA Fencing EBlast with a link to submit nominations of members for Division Board positions. We will also send flyers to the clubs to post. You can also use the link below to submit nominations.


Nominations are open for officer positions for the 2025-2026 Season beginning Aug. 1, 2025 thru July 31, 2026. Elections for officers will be held at the annual meeting. You can nominate yourself or others (please ask them first). Elections for MN Division Board positions will be held at the annual meeting on Saturday June 21st. Please fill out the nomination form by June 1. This will give us time to check in with all nominees to see if they want to accept the nomination and/or provide a statement for the election. The division encourages members from all clubs to consider becoming a part of the board.


Description of Roles in the Division

President: Manages the board and sets the agenda

Vice President: Assists the President and coordinates sanctioned USA Fencing Division tournaments (in particular JO and Summer National Qualifiers) 

Secretary: Documents meetings, communicates with national office, assists with elections and other activities.

Treasurer: Maintains records of Division Finances

Public Relations Specialist: Manages web presences, social media, and creates print media.

Members at Large (2 Positions): Assists with projects set by the board.


Requirements to be board member include:

Must be 18+, Must have an active USA Fencing membership and have or be willing to obtain the +checked addon to their membership by Aug. 1, 2025.

Board Members: The current board has members from across the state and from multiple clubs. Current board members are parents, coaches, athletes, and referees.

Prior to the meeting a zoom link will be sent to registrants. We will update as we get closer with in-person options.


Tentative Agenda:

  1. Yearly review of MN Division Activities and Finances
  2. Review Nominations. Election of Division Board for 2025-2026 season.
  3. Review of requirements for Sanctioned Tournaments.
  4. Set date in Late July/ August for establishing the 2025-2026 Sanctioned Division Events Calendar
  5. MN Division schedules around Regional events in Region 2, and may coordinate with other neighboring divisions.
  6. All sanctioned events run by clubs.
  7. All division hosted events (JO qualifiers, and SN qualifiers)
  8. Acknowledgement and Thank You to those Board Members leaving.
