ZFA Foil Camp for preparing for national regional and local events or the upcoming club season at Zeljkovic Fencing Academy

Get ready for the biggest stage in domestic fencing.

This intensive camp is specifically designed to sharpen foil fencers for the preparing for national, regional and local events or the upcoming club season.

We focus on high-speed tactical decision-making, refined point control, and the physical peak performance needed to succeed in a national-level bracket.

Our Elite Coaching Staff

Myles Bear -

1. Competed internationally representing USA and GBR at the senior level
2. Fenced at Penn State University 2018-2020

Coaching Athlete Recruitment 4X Division 1 athletes, 1X Division 3 athlete

1. Have more than 4years coaching experience and his student are making amazing progress and going to elite colleges.

Miodrag "Mickey" Zeljkovic

1. National Leadership: former USA Paralympic head coach in TOKYO2020 and former National Coach for Yugoslavia, Serbia, and Kuwait.

Collegiate Excellence:

1. Assistant Coach at the Temple University
2. Former Assistant Coach at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn).
3. Tactical Expert: Over 30 years of experience coaching elite athletes and an active USA Fencing Referee with deep knowledge of modern foil priority.

Foil-Specific Curriculum

This camp is strictly designed for the serious, competitive fencer. Our specialized program includes:

1. Advanced Foil Technical Drills: Focusing on target accuracy, flicking mechanics, and parry-riposte timing.
2. Strategic Bout Analysis: Reviewing modern foil tactics and "on-strip" feedback for specific competitive scenarios.
3. National-Level Conditioning: High-intensity footwork and agility drills tailored for the Summer National.
4. Mental Preparation: Strategies for managing multi-day national events and long pools.

2. Full Camp (5 Days) $500
3. ZFA member Rate $400
4. Payment can be by cash, Venmo or apple pay

1. Equipment Full set of working electrical foil gear (including required bibs/masks).
2. Membership Current USA Fencing Membership required (Competitive or Non-Competitive).
3. Lunch Campers are responsible for their own lunch and hydration.

Private lesson is $45 for ZFA members and non ZFA members $55

Daily Schedule:

1. 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Technical Foil Practice & Footwork
2. 12:00 PM – 01:00 PM: Lunch Break
3. 01:00 PM – 03:00 PM: Tactical Bouting & Video Feedback
