Fencers, come join us for a nose-to-the-grindstone 2-day performance camp from Jan 2-3. Experienced fencers only, active USAF membership required. Private Lesson included for 2-day registrants!

Welcome to the Winter Warrior Clinic

This camp is designed for experienced épée fencers who wish to take their performance to the next level by expanding on their physical and mental capacity for the sport


This clinic will focus the fencer in the following areas:

+ Physical Prowess | >Agility Balance and Coordination development through progressive and repetitive muscle memory drills > Indoor/outdoor warm-ups to improve cardio and endurance

++ Mental Acuity | >On-and-off-the-piste tasks to improve our techniques, tactics, and strategies > Use of multimedia tools, including; video playback of fencers for performance analysis, YouTube bout analysis, and mental agility training through games and exercises

+++ Sports Psychology | >Explore new ways to take our fencing game to the next level >Emotional resilience in handling victory and defeat >Pushing past our limitations >How to handle the discipline of fencing sport

++++ Relationship-Building | How to think and act as a team, and why it matters! > How to lift up a teammate in an appropriate way


When will this clinic be held?

  1. Dates | January 2-3, 2025
  2. Times | 9:00 - 4:00p, 7 hours/day


Who will be accepted to participate in this clinic?

  1. Experienced, current épée fencers only
  2. Any experienced fencers, ages 8 years and older, are welcome to join, with completion of pre-requisites (listed below)


What is the price of this camp?

  1. $160 for both days ***
  2. $90 for just Thursday the 2nd or Friday the 3rd


***Each 2-day participant will receive a full gear inspection + recommendations, as well as a private lesson during the 2-day camp (included in payment). This does not apply for 1-Day camp participants.

Refund and Payment Policy

  1. There will be no refunds given, except for extenuating circumstances
  2. There will be no prorated fee options
  3. Davis Fencing Academy reserves the right to refuse service to anyone


Are there any discounts for this clinic?

  1. Yes! 10% discount for active DFAM Members


How should I prepare for the clinic?

Pre-requisites include:

  1. Davis Fencing Academy club waiver, signed by athlete or parent/guardian
  2. USA Fencing Membership required (no trial memberships)
  3. Please bring | Fencing gear, athletic clothing AND athletic shoes, lunch/snacks required each day, water bottle
