This is first of an FAoP-North armouring series aimed at making you proficient at taking care of your electric scoring equipment, at home or on the go. The clinic is expected to run for approximately an hour. This will NOT cover how to wire your weapon, that will be the topic of a later clinic. Future clinics will feature:

How to Rewire Your Blade
For this clinic you will need tools for taking your foil apart and putting it back together, plus a few items for general small repairs. While many of these items can be acquired at a hardware store, items like the test box and spare point parts must be acquired from a fencing equipment vendor. In addition to your foil and a functioning body cord, you will need:
Test box
jewelers screwdrivers
6mm Allen key
small white cloth
small magnet
flathead screwdriver
small pliers
fine grit sandpaper
Optional but recommended
Spare point parts: pack or screws, pack of springs, extra point, spaghetti tubing
krazy glue, single use
6mm lockwashers
2 small vise grips
foil weight or combination test weight
