Step onto the piste confidently after training at our Winter Competitive Intensive, designed and led by Coach Medhat ElBakry. This camp is the perfect setting for fencers to hone their skills, learn advanced techniques, and prepare for competition. This is great training during the winter season where you can take your learnings to your club. Bring your best game and get ready to work!
Camp Features:
- Personalized Training Sessions: Work one-on-one and in small groups for tailored coaching that targets your unique strengths and areas for improvement.
- Advanced Techniques: Learn the latest in attack and defense strategies across various fencing weapons.
- Physical Conditioning: Participate in specialized workouts designed to enhance your agility, strength, and endurance.
- Situational Bouting / Tactics: Test your skills in simulated situations with direct feedback
TIME: 10AM - 12PM & 2:30PM - 4:30PM*
*if no evening class
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
- Fencers who are looking to become part of a competitive travel team with more than 1 year of fencing
- Competitive fencers who attend regional, national and international events

Coach Medhat ElBakry is master tactician known for getting you to focus and achieve at competitions, an Olympic Referee (Rio 2016), Coach Medhat understands the ins and outs of what is behind the competitive mindset of the opponent and the perspective of the referee, so that you can navigate the tactics, strategy and your mindset to achieve your best results
ABOUT RFC:
The Rochester Fencing Club has a record of competitive achievement producing National, Collegiate, World, and Olympic Champions. More specifically, the RFC has qualified five members to the 1996 Olympics, four to the 2000 Olympics, one to the 2008 Olympics, has produced two World Champions, and placed many fencers on World Championship teams. RFC fencers have also won numerous team and individual National Championships.
