Join us for the next iteration of Forge Fight Club! Fencers from across the region come together for training, bouting, and camaraderie!

The next Forge Fight Club will be on Sunday December 1 from 1pm until 4pm. Read below for more information, and reach out if you have questions!

Forge Fight Club is entered its second season!

This event hosted by Forge Fencing designed to provide fun and challenging competitive bouting experience. The question arose, how can we create an environment for fencers from across NC to gather and fence to support their development? The solution was to open up Forge and create a fun and challenging experience for intermediate to advanced fencers to get a LOT of bouts against a wide array of fencers.

Join us at Forge’s amazing facility with 16 grounded strips and state of the art Radical Flooring System. Forge Fight club will be facilitated by Coach Stephen Pashby and additional Forge Coaching Staff.

Who should participate and what do we need to bring?

  1. Athletes age 14 through adult.
  2. Fencers must bring their own full tournament equipment kit to participate. Expect the same equipment standards as a national tournament. Fencing pants, plastrons, and long socks are required!

What is the cost?

  1. $25 fee paid on askfred.net when you register. Please register and pay prior to arriving.

  1. Forge High Performance members, this event is FREE to you as a HP member benefit. Please email stephen@forgefencing.com and we can add you to the list. You do NOT need to pay online via FRED.

How is this going to work?

  1. Athletes will participate in a series of 5, 10, and 15 touch bouts. Exact parameters will be adjusted based on the needs of the group. In general expect pool rounds, followed by DE length bouts.
  2. All bouts will be run to competition standards of time, rules, and athlete conduct.
  3. All participants are expected to officiate bouts when not fencing – don't worry we will back you up if you aren't an experienced ref!
  4. We are going to fence hard, have fun, and level up our skills through focused training.
