AFM Epee Summer Nationals Prep Camp with Italian National Team Members - Week 1

This year AFM Summer Nationals Preparation Camp features members of the Italian National Team members, all of whom are International and National medalists, medaling and winning World and European Championships, World Cups, and National Championships.

This year we have the following guests:

Dario Remondini (23yo) - Cadet World Championship Individual Silver Medalist (2019), Multiple European Championship Medalist and Italian Junior and Senior medalist

Fabrizio Cuomo (22yo) - Junior World Cup medalist, member of Senior Travel Team, multiple medalist of Italian Cadet, Junior and Senior national competitions

Magda-Louna Maiga (19yo) - Individual World Silver Medalist (2026), Member of Swiss Junior National Team and Senior Travel Team

Beatrice Cagnin (27yo) - JuniorTeam World Champion and Silver Medalist (2017, 2018), multiple medalist of World Cups and Italian Championshps, Member of Italian Travel Team

AFM Epee camp trains epee fencers to reach maximum performance towards the Summer National Championship in Portland, Oregon.

Athletes will experience intensive immersion in fencing, honing specific techniques, strategies and tactics, in numerous drills and bouts and engaging in mental training for success. 

Coaches will work with participants to improve their fencing skills and provide constructive feedback on technique and on-strip strategies to help athletes adjust their game. 

Each athlete will be challenged to think critically and develop approaches and methods to improve their fencing performance and empower themselves in the national championship and their training afterward.

Epee fencers are invited to attend. The camp coaches will divide the group according to the skill level to provide maximum benefit to each group.

AFM Summer Nationals Preparation Camp includes:

� physical training and conditioning 

� intensive footwork, drills and developmental exercises

� coached open bouting

� bout tactics and strategy,

� fencing bouting with different tasks 

� fencing video reviews

Dates: Monday June 8 - Friday June 12, 2026

Camp Hours: 9am-4pm

Lunch: 12pm-1:30pm

Prices:

Regular Price ( until May 14, 2026) - $700 per week

Late Registration (May 14 - June 7, 2026) - $800 per week

Single Day:

$175 - Walk-ins if pre-registered, $200 - on site

Space is limited so early registration is required. If registration is full and the registration is closed, please send us an email to be put on a waiting list.

Unpaid registration is not considered completed. Registrants will have one day to complete their payment before their pre-registration will be canceled. Such canceled registrations will be charged as walk-ins on the first day of the camp for on-site daily fee.

Equipment:

Fencing exercises and bouts will be performed on electrical fencing equipment. Each camper should bring:

- 2 (or more) working weapons and body cords,

- fencing outfit (jacket, mask, gloves, underarm protector, good shoes, fencing knickers and long socks)

Cancelation and Refund Policy:

- if canceled before May 8, 2026 - $100 of the paid fees is not refundable

- if canceled May 8-31, 2026 - $200 non-refundable

- no refund or credit if canceled on or after June 1, 2026, for whatever reason (including medical). No exceptions.

- No refund or credit (including prorated) for unattended days
