Alliance Mega Epee Camp #2 / Y8 - SNR

DATES & TIMES:

June 15 - 19

Due to the large number of campers (which is a good thing) we will divide all campers into two groups (sessions) which will be scheduled at different times. Campers will have the opportunity to fence different opponents from different age groups daily. We will email the group rosters before camp starts.

First Group:

9:00-12:00 - Camp

12:00-3:00 - lunch

3:00-5:00 - Camp

Second Group:

12:00-3:00 - Camp

3:00-5:00 - Lunch

5:00-7:00 - Camp

LOCATION:

Alliance Fencing Academy

CAMP CONTENTS:

1. practice and competitive fencing bouts (at least 3 hours daily)
2. fencing bouts with different missions and tasks
3. fencing strategies & technique
4. intensive foot work & blade work
5. stretching & coordination exercises
6. general & special fitness exercises
7. fencing rules reviews
8. fencing videos reviews

Individual Lessons are available after/before the camp hours upon request

WHAT TO BRING:

1. lunch (Alliance will provide water and healthy snacks only. A refrigerator and microwave are available for personal use)
2. small towel
3. extra T-shirts
4. complete fencing uniform (including under arm protector, knickers and high socks)
5. 2-3 working weapons and body cords

ACCOMMODATIONS:

Accommodation with Alliance's hosting families is available upon request, and depends on availability.

The best way to find an Alliance hosting family is to contact your Alliance fencing friends directly if you have any. Otherwise, please contact our Office Manager, Vika, at 713-410-6655.

Alliance Members:

$675 / one week

Non-Alliance Members:

$775 / one week

1. No camp fee for current and former World and Olympic team members.
2. A $100 discount is available for two-week sessions.
3. A 20% family discount is available for siblings, applied to the full camp cost.

$100 non-refundable deposit or full camp payment is due 10 days before the beginning of the camp ($25 late fee will apply after that date)

HOUSTON CUP TOURNAMENT:

The Houston Four Seasons Cup tournament for all ages is scheduled right after the camp on June 20, 2026. This tournament is a great opportunity to test your competitive skills before your main events at the Summer National Championship.
