GRAFA All Ages Foil and Epee Camp with Notre Dame Coach Gia Kvaratskhelia & GRAFA Coaches Mikhail & Arkadiy Sarkisov

Under Gia Kvaratskhelia, the Notre Dame Head Fencing team won 5 National Championships - NCAA Champions 2011, 2012 & 2021, 2022 and 2023

This is the last of four quarterly camps with Coach Gia for the 2024-2025 season.

Maestros Mikhail and Arkadiy Sarkisov, the head coaches of GRAFA, will be the instructors along with Coach Gia.

Maestros holds a BS degree in Physical Education and Coaching from the Azerbaijan University Of Physical Education and a Master's in Fencing.

They were Soviet Union gold medalists in 1985, medalists at the USSR Nationals from 1986-1989, and finalists at the World Cup and Student World Game competitions.

In 2005, Maestro Mikhail Sarkisov was recognized by the US Olympic Committee as Developmental Coach of the Year.

Many of his students successfully compete on the National and International levels.

Both Maestros coached 8 National (NAC) champions in the different age categories in foil and epee.

Several Maestro's students successfully fenced at the NCAA Championships, earning First Team All-American, Honors, and All-American Recognition, competing for universities such as Northwestern, Notre Dame, Boston College, UNC, Temple, NYU, and Cornell.

Tuition:

$280.00, including the meals. (Lunch and snacks are provided every day.)

FULL PAYMENT ($250) IS REQUIRED FOR THE FINAL APPROVAL TO RESERVE THE SPOT IN THE CAMP. This is on a first-come, first-served basis.

1:30 PM – 3:45 PM Conditioning, footwork, theory, strategy drills.

3:45-4:00 PM Social Time: Fencers must be picked up by their parents during this time.
